The studio apartment was lovingly restored in 2010. Our Italian architect thinks it was originally an entrance verandah to the buildings adjoining the 14th century church.
The studio is set up with a queen-size bed, full kitchen, separate bathroom and walk-in storage space. The space is perfect by itself for a couple, or together with the house for extended family (parents or older children) who want some independence.
The high, ancient roof beams and exposed stonework provide a special atmosphere, and contribute to the feeling of light and space.
